Welcoming Kids & Families

We are so excited and blessed to serve the youngest members of our congregation through an enthusiastic congregation, safe sanctuaries, and Christ-centered worship. Our purpose is to provide a place of worship for the whole family, even the youngest who join us to learn about Jesus.

We are aware that the needs of individual children, especially at these developmental ages, can vary from child to child. While these guidelines are in place as a general rule, we are happy to speak with you about your child if you feel the guidelines will not accommodate their needs.

We celebrate with you the beauty and uniqueness of each child!

A Little Bit More…

Sunday Gatherings

We encourage children and youth of all to join us for worship and prayer. During the sermon, we have a time for kids to learn together or they are welcome to stay with their families for the full gathering time.

All ages are also welcome at our Home Churches; each Home Church has a different rhythm and experience for our youngest members. Contact our Home Church pastor, Marissa Cowan, with any question you might have about visiting a Home Church.

Additionally, we offer special Kids & Family events in line with the current season in the Church Calendar. Here are some highlights from our most recent event, check out the Next-Gen page for information about our upcoming events!

What if we are sick?

We are all susceptible to catching the flu, colds, and other viral infections. As such, the following policy is in place:

If your child has a communicable* illness or is exhibiting one or more of the following symptoms, please refrain from placing them in the Toddler & Preschool Play Area or with the Elementary Small Group:

  • Fever (must be fever-free for 24 hours)

  • Yellow or green drainage from nose or eyes

  • Vomiting or Diarrhea (must be symptom-free for 24 hours)

  • Open/Bleeding wounds

  • Swelling/Redness in/or surrounding the eye (Pink Eye)

* Examples of a communicable illnesses: Chicken Pox, Measles, Strep Throat, etc. Please be aware that many of these illnesses carry an incubation period. If there is any chance that your child has been exposed recently, please exercise caution and keep your child with you today. This is for your protection as well as others.

We hope that you are blessed by the time we are together to serve you and Christ together. It is a privilege to partner with you in the faith formation of the next generation. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to join you in discipling your child.
