Plowshares Home Churches

Home Church Shepherds

Plowshares Shepherds are on the front lines of Plowshares ministry.  They are the heart and soul of what we do.

Home Church Shepherds serve by organizing and administrating gatherings in cooperation with a Plowshares Home Church Host and under the care and supervision of Open Door Pastors.

Their duties include praying and caring for members of their community, facilitating the reading of Scripture in community, actively seeking the growth of their community, overseeing the administration of Communion, and mentoring a Leader-in-Training.

Leader-in-Training

Home ChurchLeaders-in-Training are individuals who are interested in serving Plowshares Communities by either becoming a Shepherd in an existing community or beginning a new community.

Hosts

Plowshares Home Church Hosts serve by creating environments conducive to hospitality, grace, beauty, and mutual respect. (see infographic for CG Roles)
